This elegant boat slides across Lake Starnberg in almost complete silence; for the Laguna 760 is electrically powered.
While its looks suggest a speedboat along Riva lines, the engine is far from conventional, boasting a high-performance electric motor with an output of 40kW. The power is drawn from cutting-edge lithium polymer batteries, propelling it to a maximum speed of around 40 km/h. At normal cruising speeds, the batteries last for six or eight hours. Even when drawing a heavy current, the batteries should be good for a two-hour trip.
